17th Century Crested Ebony Longcase
This is a working copy of a 17th century longcase clock. Made in ebony wood, the door opens to show the pendulum and weights, the case has left and right hand barley twist pillars with brass capitals. The face has been engraved and silvered with applied Thomas Tompion style brass spandrels. There is an infilled fretwork panel above the hood door, with cresting above.
